Grace Ann Productions has been a catalyst and forerunner in providing innovative and original works in the performing arts community.
In 2001, Grace Ann began incorporating American Sign Language (ASL) into its performances with hearing, deaf, and impaired hearing actors and performers. These integrated performances began when Grace Ann felt the calling to reach a community which would typically not get exposure or an equal chance to be a part of a performance.
Grace Ann is still one of the few organizations in the world and the only performing arts organizations in the Midwest and Southern region of the United States which produces shows with an integrated cast of deaf and hearing performers.
All of Grace Ann's productions are translated into ASL. Grace Ann continues to maintain this standard by providing this provision at all of its performances regardless if there are deaf performers on cast.
